We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to lead our revenue growth initiatives. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with advertisers, sponsors, and strategic partners in the health and wellness space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media sales, digital marketing, and relationship building, with a passion for the wellness industry.
Business Development & Sales
Identify, research, and pursue potential advertisers, sponsors, and affiliate partners within the wellness, fitness, nutrition, natural products, and healthcare sectors.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads using outbound prospecting, networking, and industry events.
Conduct needs assessments to match client goals with Purely Wellness News’ advertising and partnership solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Negotiate and close sales contracts to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for advertisers and partners, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Develop long-term client relationships through regular communication, campaign reviews, and performance analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams (content, design, and marketing) to ensure successful campaign execution and delivery.
Strategy & Market Expansion
Identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and untapped markets within the wellness industry.
Develop new revenue streams such as sponsored webinars, virtual events, and affiliate collaborations.
Provide feedback to leadership on market opportunities, pricing models, and product enhancements.
Required:
3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in digital media, publishing, or advertising.
Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and grow revenue.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Preferred:
Background in the wellness, health, fitness, or lifestyle industries.
Knowledge of digital advertising formats, campaign performance metrics, and lead generation strategies.
Established network of industry contacts.
Monthly and quarterly sales revenue achieved.
Number of new advertisers and partners acquired.
Client retention and repeat business rate.
Contribution to brand awareness and market expansion.
